Kerala ISVIR 2026

A Rewarding Conference Experience

Attending ISVIR Kerala 2026 on May 2nd and 3rd was a truly rewarding experience. The conference, focused on cancer and pain management, was well-organised with a thoughtfully curated academic programme that made for two productive days of learning and exchange.

I had the opportunity to present on ‘Genicular Artery Embolisation: Key Techniques and How to Avoid Complications’ — a practical session covering tips for achieving successful outcomes while keeping the procedure safe for patients. The talk was well-attended and sparked some excellent discussions with delegates, which is always the most gratifying part of any conference presentation.

Beyond the academics, the hospitality was exceptional and the networking opportunities were invaluable. It is always a pleasure to connect with fellow Interventional Radiology colleagues, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Grateful to the organisers for putting together such a well-run event and looking forward to the next one.
