SOARCON 2026
It was an honour to participate as a Faculty Member at the Society of Osteoarthritis Conference held in Hyderabad on 1–2 August.

I had the opportunity to deliver a lecture on the Role of Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) in the Management of Chronic Osteoarthritic Knee Pain. It was encouraging to see the growing interest in this minimally invasive treatment option and to engage in meaningful discussions with colleagues from across the country.

The session was well received, with extensive interactive discussions on how GAE can improve the quality of life for patients suffering from chronic knee pain due to osteoarthritis. As awareness of this innovative procedure continues to grow, collaborative academic platforms like these play a vital role in advancing patient care.

My sincere thanks to the organisers for the invitation and to all the delegates for their insightful questions and engaging discussions. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the advancement of interventional radiology and evidence-based care for patients with osteoarthritis.
