CIRSE 2026 in Copenhagen

CIRSE 2026 in Copenhagen a memorable few days of learning, sharing and connecting.

It was a privilege to be part of CIRSE 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and to contribute as Chair and Co-Moderator of the session:
FS 424 – HCC: Integrating IO Therapies in the Multidisciplinary Pathway, alongside Dr. Sebastian Ebel.
The session provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the evolving role of interventional oncology and the importance of multidisciplinary approaches in the management of HCC.

I was also pleased to be part of two scientific poster presentations:
🔹 P-0438: Outcomes and Quality of Life Following Radiofrequency Ablation of Benign Thyroid Nodules: A Single-Centre Prospective Study
🔹 P-0701: Evaluation of the Safety and Short-Term Efficacy of Ultrasound-Guided Genicular Nerve Radiofrequency Ablation in Patients with Chronic Knee Pain in an Indian Quaternary Hospital.

Beyond the scientific programme, CIRSE was also about meeting old friends, making new connections, exchanging ideas and learning from colleagues from around the world.

Grateful for the opportunity to contribute, learn and share knowledge at such an important international platform for interventional radiology.
