The MIOT CHRISTIE ONCOLOGY UPDATE 2024 was a one-of-a-kind medical conference conducted for the first time in central Asia which was attended by a staggering 400 specialist doctors from the central Asian region. Medical experts from India, the UK and the local region shared their valuable knowledge and expertise with the delegates. I was privileged to be one of the faculty. I discussed about the ”Advanced minimally invasive interventional therapies for tumours”. My talk evoked a lot of interest amongst the liver cancer specialists and generated a highly interactive discussion as these treatments are not available in this region.
