ISVIR 2025 in Kochi

I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend #ISVIR2025, the national interventional radiology conference, held in the breathtaking setting of Kochi, Kerala—truly God’s own country. The event was a perfect mix of professional growth, reconnecting with friends, and soaking in the natural beauty of Kerala.

One of the highlights for me was moderating a highly engaging and informative expert panel discussion on Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for #Osteoarthritis and #KneePain. The session was packed with insights, and it was inspiring to see how this innovative procedure is transforming the lives of patients suffering from chronic knee pain. The discussions highlighted the growing role of interventional radiology in providing minimally invasive solutions for debilitating conditions.

Beyond the conference halls, I had the chance to catch up with friends and colleagues from across the globe. The camaraderie and shared passion for advancing interventional radiology made the event even more special.
Of course, no trip to Kochi would be complete without experiencing its natural wonders. I savored the serene beauty of the Kochi backwaters . The tranquil waters and landscapes were the perfect way to unwind after days of intense learning and networking.
A huge shoutout to the ISVIR Kerala organizing team for their impeccable hospitality and flawless execution of the conference. Their hard work and dedication made ISVIR 2025 a truly memorable event.
Grateful for the knowledge gained, the connections made, and the memories created. Here’s to many more such inspiring gatherings in the world of interventional radiology!
