Fiji Medical Association Conference – SUVA

It was a privilege to share insights on Women’s Health at the Fiji Medical Association Conference at Holiday Inn on May 24th 2025.

My presentation focused on Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) for fibroid treatment. I emphasized its key advantages – no surgery, no anesthesia, and a remarkably fast recovery, allowing women to resume their lives in just a few days.The engagement from the audience was fantastic, with many questions about the local availability of UAE. I’m pleased to share that MIOT International is dedicated to setting up this vital service in Fiji.

This will be a game-changer for women here, offering a much-needed alternative to traditional surgical approaches. Looking forward to the positive impact this will have on local communities.
